I have a wide range of teaching experience. I've taught in the traditional classroom for University of Iowa and North Carolina State (NCSU). I've taught correspondence courses for NCSU, and team taught an experimental class for them as well. I have taught online for Kaplan University and NCSU, where I won an internal grant to develop an experiment online class. I currently teach online for Upper Iowa University, Baker College Online, and the University of Phoenix. I've developed course materials for all three schools, and have served on advisory boards for the last two schools.
I've written a wide range of educational materials. In addition to designing courses and writing material for several colleges, I've written study guides to many classic works of literature, as well as entries for reference works. I've served as a textbook reviewer, and as an outside reviewer for academic journals. I've published a few articles on higher education, especially online education, and published numerous book reviews on teaching.
